Human CD105 (endoglin) is a homodimeric membrane glycoprotein (1) virtually restricted to endothelial cells, and present on some leukemia cells and minor subsets of bone marrow cells. CD105 binds to TGF-b1 and b3 with high affinity (4).
Isotype: Murine IgG1 kappa
Immunogen: Membrane preparation of human B-lineage leukemia cells
Specificity: Antibody SN6 recognizes an extracellular epitope of the CD105 homodimer with a molecular weight of about 160 kd.
Functional Application: Antibody SN6 will augment binding of TGF-b1 to CD105 expressing leukemia cells.
