Human CD33 is a 67 kd syaloadhesin belonging to the Ig superfamily. It is expressed on normal myeloid cells an precursors, as well as myeloid leukemias, but is not present on stem cells.
Isotype: Murine IgG1
Immunogen: Human Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia cells
Specificity: Antibody WM-53 recognizes a common epitope on the CD33 molecule of 67 kd.
Functional Application: Antibody WM-53 is not cytotoxic, and has no detectable effect on hemopoetic cell progenitor assays
