INFORMATION: Immunoglobulin expressed by the mouse plasmacytoma hybridoma SIPC 3385 is an IgG3 isotype of unknown specificity. It is used as a negative control when working with human cells.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: Store at 2 - 5^oC. Freeze/Thawing is not recommended. Protect from light.

BUFFER: 50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 100 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 5% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA, 0.04% NaN₃ (as a preservative).

PRODUCTION: Immunoglobulin was purified from ascites using salt precipitation, ion exchange and bio-affinity chromatography. It was then reacted with FITC. Unconjugated FITC was removed from conjugate using a desalting column. Antibody conjugate is at 1.0 mg/ml with a Fluoroscein/Antibody molar ratio of approximately 3.2.

PERFORMANCE: Mouse IgG3/FITC was tested as a negative control in Flow cytometry at 5 mg/ml. All cells tested failed to stain or display a significant mean shift above a buffer background.

Cells tested: Human PBL, CEM, Nalm-6, HEL and HL60 (cells expressing Fc receptors were pre-blocked with human IgG). (7-35)
