Human DR5-muIg  Fusion Protein

Information: DR5 is one of two TNF family member death domain containing receptors for TRAIL(APO-2L). Ligation of DR5 can modulate the intracellular cascade, inducing or in some cases preventing apoptosis.  DR5 has a slightly higher affinity for TRAIL than DR4. 

Molecular Structure:  A soluble fusion protein combining the extracellular (161aa) domain of human DR5 and murine IgG2a Fc and hinge region (234aa), with a predicted monomeric molecular weight of 44.2 kd.

Transfectant Cell Line:  CHO
