INFORMATION: Immunoglobulin expressed by the mouse plasmacytoma TEPC 183 is an IgMk isotype of unknown binding specificity. It is used as a negative control when working with human cells.

BUFFER: 50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 500 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 0.5 mg/ml Gentamicin Sulfate (as a preservative).
PRODUCTION: Antibody was Protein A purified from (low FBS containing) tissue culture supernatant. Purity was >95% Immunoglobulin by SDS-PAGE and contains less than 1% Bovine Immunoglobulin.
PERFORMANCE: Mouse IgM was tested as a negative control in Flow cytometry at 20mg/ml using Goat anti-Mouse IgG/FITC (Cat # 232-010; This reagent cross reacts well with Mouse IgM clones) as a 2o reagent. All cells tested failed to stain or display a significant mean shift above a buffer background.
Cells tested: Human PBL, CEM, HPB-MLT, Nalm-6, Jurkat, U-937, Molt-4, Raji, Daudi
