Human CD80 (B7-1) is a costimulatory ligand for CD28 and CTLA-4 (1).   CD80 is expressed on activated B cells (2).

Specificity: Antibody P1.H5.A1.A1 recognizes the CD80 molecule.

Functional  Application: Antibody P1.H5.A1.A1 blocks binding of soluble CD152 Ig fusion protein to CD80.
